Lyophilised (Powder) Peptides
- Protect from direct light
- Keep vial sealed until ready for laboratory reconstitution
- Shelf life 12-24 months when lypophilised
Reconstituted Peptides (When Bacteriostatic Water is Added)
- Store refrigerated at 2–8°C
- Use within 30 days
- If a product has been stored outside of recommended refrigeration conditions or exposed to elevated temperatures, its stability and potency may be reduced.
Safe Laboratory Preparation (Reconstitution)

Step 1: Cleanse Vial Tops
Wipe rubber stoppers of both peptide vial and bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol swab.
Allow to air dry completely before proceeding.
Step 2: Draw Diluent
Using a sterile syringe, withdraw the required volume of bacteriostatic water.
Remove air bubbles carefully.
Step 3: Add Diluent to Peptide Vial
Insert needle slowly through rubber stopper.
Allow water to run gently down the inside wall of the vial.
Do not inject forcefully directly onto the powder.
Step 4: Dissolve
Gently swirl the vial.
Do NOT shake the vial.
Allow powder to dissolve naturally.
Solution should appear clear and free of particles.
If solution appears cloudy or contains particulate matter, discontinue use.
Handling Precautions
Always use aseptic laboratory technique.
Never reuse needles or syringes.
Do not expose peptide to excessive heat, light, or agitation.
Do not use if vial appears contaminated or damaged.
Dispose of sharps in a sharps container.
Stability & Integrity
Peptides are delicate molecular chains and may degrade if:
Exposed to heat
Exposed to UV light
Frozen and thawed repeatedly
Shaken aggressively
Contaminated by improper sterile technique
